Devlog 7: Post-Playtesting Session


We just completed our first 2 playtesting sessions and we've gotten a lot of good feedback!

Here are some of the updates we made to the game

  • Overhauled player connection method
    • players now start in a menu and connect by pressing the stacking button
    • players 1 and 2 are maintained throughout the duration of the game, so no more weird bugs with who's who in stacked form
  • tuned balance difficulty
  • added an objective to level
    • collect 3 keys to open the door at the end
    • then step into the end zone and the level is completed
  • game win screen and start menu
  • added a second cart (mwahahaha)
